Jenn Allen was born and raised in sunny South Florida and currently resides in Atlanta Ga, where she works as a photographer in her free time when she is not working in the art department on films. Her photographic process is determined by the subject matter. For lifestyle, Jenn typically uses her full frame mirrorless camera, but she also loves to work with film. She is trained in 35mm, 4x5, and even 16mm film processes as well! She specializes in lifestyle photography and cinematic editorial portrait work. Color plays an important role in her work and she is heavily influenced by modern cinema. Along with her nationally exhibited photography, Jenn Allen writes about art. As a writer for Artborne Magazine, she had the opportunity to interview artists of all mediums and write about the triumphs and struggles of contemporary artists.
